Why is the ABS block essential?

The ABS has been mandatory in Europe since 2003. It works through sensors, an ECU and a hydraulic control system. The ABS block regulates the pressure of the hydraulic fluid that travels from the pedal to the brake calipers. Thanks to a sensor, installed on the wheels, the ABS block can thus release the pressure on the wheels that would be blocked, in order to give back the control of the vehicle trajectory to the driver.
